Email marketing allows links to be embedded in messages, which drives instant website traffic and results can be easily tracked to see exactly how effective each campaign is. Due to this tracking facility, each email campaign can be experimented with, to give a clear understanding of what works and what doesn’t. There is no such tracking facility with direct mail; in fact there is no measurable means of pursuing if each campaign got any positive feedback at all!!
